The store is stocked and ready for the holidays. Sweet Waters Liquor may not look like much from the outside but since 1980 we truly have the best selection of wine, liquor and beer of any store in the area. No one has more items packed in such a small space with ample parking, easy access to the Eagle/Vail Airport, down the street from Sweet Leaf Pioneer and next to the hotels in Eagle.
..A few words on bourbon ….Pappy Van Winkle… ya I said it…we can’t get it no matter how hard we try …thanks for all the calls and drive by’s … who knows maybe next year…but a few Bourbons and Whiskeys we can get and we really like… Garrison Brothers “Winter” Texas Bourbon Whiskey $92.98 , Balcones “Baby Blue” (we have one left), Leopold Bros “American Small Batch” , Chicago’s best bourbon Koval “Single Barrel” $54.98, Hirsch “Small Batch Reserve” $41.98 , Four Roses “Single Barrel” $46.49, most of the Michter’s line up $41.00-$90.00, Rhetoric 21 years $103.98 (1 left)…the list go’s on…
California Dreaming … Orin Swift 2013 “Machete” $49,98, 2011 Dominus Estate $189.98 (we have a few bottles left), 2010 Silver Oak Alexander Valley, 2013 The Prisoner (92 points Robert Parker)$44,98, and Hanger 1 vodka (hand made and crafted one batch at a time, on tiny hand – operated Pot Stills).
From the other side … Our friend Antonio Zaccheo Jr. from Carpineto in Tuscany, Italy has done it again with his 2010 Carpineto “Vino Nobile Di Montepulciano Riserva $30.98. It has a rating of 93 points from Wine Spectator and we were able to buy a few cases .
